Trip 4 - More Aid Delivered to Kharkiv

AidUkraineDirect's fourth aid trip successfully delivered:

- £13000 of food
- water filters to allow over 700 households to have clean water
- mini-generators/power banks to keep hundreds of mobile phones charged.

Mark Webb and Mark Thomson undertook this trip, successfully dealing with a whole host of obstacles on the way. At the request of our Polish friends they accompanied their hosts into Ukraine to the handover point for the aid, navigating a 5 hour checkpoint at the border.

This trip was made possible by the ongoing generosity of our donors and a special thanks goes to Sammy Cooper-Smith for his amazing support. A few days later we received video footage of the aid being unloaded in Kharkiv (independently verified).
